So here are our hottest tips to get your brand soaring through 2023

  1. Set your goals and make yourself accountable
  • How much product do you want to sell and by when?
  • What is your current social following- how much would you like to increase that by and when?
  • What does your database look like? Could it do with some growth? Or is it messy and needs a good clean?
  • Does your website need a revamp? Make this a goal but set yourself a deadline.
  1. Now how are you going to achieve your goals?

After you’ve set you goals, you can start working on the strategy and plan of attack to kick those goals! This part can be quite challenging, and you could consider asking a professional team like us for some help.

  1. Set up a content calendar

Every business should have a content calendar. It’s a life saver when work gets too busy to think straight, let alone be creative. A content calendar maps out some basic themes and ideas for each week or month depending on how regularly you put content out to the world. Blogs, newsletters, website or social content, it helps to have taken time to map out some ideas when your brain is fresh and detangled. A content calendar is not a bible and should remain fluid and adaptable as current affairs or trends come into play.  You can download a free Strictlymarketing template here.

  1. Get budgeting

Work out roughly how much you want to spend on marketing and use your downtime to get some estimated costs in place to avoid impromptu blow outs. Keep in mind that your marketing budget should be between 5-13% of your total profits, depending on your industry.

  1. Reflect and grow from business fails

Have a think about what worked and what really didn’t in 2022 and look at the year ahead as a fresh slate. Learning from our mistakes is the foundation of growth. Be positive and open minded about the year to come and the things your business can achieve.
